Detail
`1988, the year of the dragon, is dawning with auspicious signs of good things to come.
About this time of the year we Koreans are traditionally busy looking back on the receding year and planning ahead for the new one.
It is our custom, however busy we may be, to take the time out to show our love and respect for our relatives and friends by visiting them in person or inquiring after their well-being and wishing them a Happy New Year by letter.
The Ministry of Communications issues this postage stamp for New Year`s greeting in order to add to the happiness with which people send and receive the greetings.`
