Detail
`The Ministry of Communications issues ten kinds of definitives with insects as the theme of design. 1. Mimeusemia A kind of moth, with feathery antennae projecting in the form of a cylinder from the head and branching into two parts at the ends, this insect inhabits Korea, Japan and the Amur and Ussuri region of China. The imagoes are found in May and June. 2. Polyzonus This is a bettle, 15 to 20mm long, with a cylindrical breast, a process on both sides, and dark blue legs covered with short whitish-grey hair. It inhabits Korea, Manchuria, Mongolia, and Siberia. 3, Anthocaris Belonging to the Pieridae, this small butterfly is found from April to May, and goes into hiber-nation in pupal form from the summer. This insect inhabits Korea, Japan and China. 4. Cincindela This insect, whose body is golden-green or golden-red, generally lives in groups. Nimble of movement, it flees from a person as if it were guiding him ahead. Hence its Korean name is `guide`. There are about 1,300 different kinds of the insect in the world. 5. Suisha This is a cicada that inhibits an oak wood. It is not found on a steep slope of a mountain or where is little sunlight. It lays three to five eggs in a 6mm or so deep hole of a dry tree branch.`
