`The day of February 25, 1993 is a significant day marking the inauguration of the 14th President of the Republic of Korea.
President Kim Young Sam, who received the widespread support of Koreans in the presidential elections on December 18, 1992, will take his first steps towards ``the Creation of a New Korea.``
The Ministry of Communications issues this postage stamp to congratulate the 14th President on his inauguration, and to encourage Koreans to participate in ``the Creation of a New Korea.```
