The aims of the Asian-Oceanic Postal Union is to form a single postal territory under the name of Asian-Oceanic Postal Union and to extend, facilitate and improve the postal relations between the member-countries, and to promote the international collaboration in the field of postal services.
The establishment of the Union was jointly proposed by the Philippines and Korea.
