Located in the southwestern tip of Jeollanam-do, Mokpo is a city known by many names, including “Capital of Islands in Korea,” “Romantic Port,” “City of Art,” “Center of Modern Culture,” and “City of Taste.” Framed by Yudalsan Mountain like a folding screen and facing the islands and sea of the Dadohae, Mokpo welcomes visitors with ever-changing landscapes that shift with the passage of time and season.
