Detail
June 4, 2025, marks the inauguration of Korea’s 21st president, Lee Jae Myung.
To commemorate the 100th day of his presidency, Korea Post issued a special stamp on September 11, 2025, capturing the hopes of the Korean people for a nation where the people are the true owners, and where happiness belongs to all.
In his inaugural address, President Lee pledged to serve as “the President for all,” embracing every citizen. He voiced his resolve to lead the world through cultural excellence, drive progress with cutting-edge technology, and build a model nation through exemplary democracy.
The commemorative stamp portrays the warmth of his smile, coupled with determination for national recovery and growth. Depicting him with a clenched fist before the fluttering Taegeukgi, it conveys his unwavering commitment to faithfully serve the sovereign people, grounded in firm principles of governance.
The stamp set further illustrates the President walking alongside the people—sharing dreams and tears, striving for a better tomorrow, and advancing toward a society that guarantees dignity and well-being for all, a society that fulfills the true “value of living well.”
