`In 1992 the Ministry of Communications implemented a plan to upgrade its definitive postage stamp designs on a periodic basis. Under this plan, the ministry has recently issued two new stamp, 60 won stamp featuring ``squirrels`` and a 200 won stamp depicting ``sea turtles``. The squirrel (Tamias sibiricus) is a samll-sized mammal, which is 15 to 17cm in length and have a 10 to 12cm tail. It resembles a mouse, but has five stripes down its back. The squirrel has large internal cheek pouches in which it can carry large amounts of food that it stores for winter. It feeds on acorns and nuts, and live in forests or stone walls. The sea turtle (Chelonia mydas) lives in tropic and sub-tropic seas, such as the Pacific Ocean, the IndianOcean and the East Sea and the South Sea of Korea. The adults of this species weigh about 150kg and have a protective shell less than 1m long. Sea turtles usually lay eggs during the period from late May to August. The are omnivorous, feeding primarily on seaweeds like brown seaweeds and tangle seaweeds. The Ministry of Communications hopes that these new stamps will be useful for the public and contribute to the promotion of advanced philatelic culture in the 21st century.`
