Detail
`Our population has reached 41 million, putting Korea into the fourth place in population density in the world.
It is thus imperative that the problem of our population growth be fundamentally solved if we are to live an affluent life ourselves and leave a comfortable and pleasant country to our next generations. It is therefore high time now that all the families of our country practiced family planning in a serious way. The fewer children we have, the easier it is for us to provide for them in such a way that they will be healthy, well-educated and live a decent life. Family planning is essential not only to national prosperity but to the happiness of our family as well.
The Ministry of Communications issues this postage stamp in the hope that the national campaign for `stopping at one` will be successful.`
