The Ministry of Communications has, therefore, decided to issue a series of postage stamps designed to show the past and present states of the Korean postal service, The series will be issued until next year in five installments, of which the following two are the Third : 1. Conveyance of Postal Matter During the Pre-Modern Korea Period In the Pre-Modern Korea period, there used to be a ``postal station`` system, in which mail was carried on horses shuttling between stations.
