Detail
`The Ministry of Communications is issuing this year a series of postage stamps featuring Korean-made automobiles. The aim of this decision is, on the one hand, to congratulate our auto industry on its rapid growth and, on the other, to diversify the design of our postage stamps to suit the taste of philatelists at home and abroad. The series will be issued in five installments, featuring small-sized, medium-sized, large-sized and specially-equipped automobiles, in that order. The following two are the last of the installments :
1. Mixer-truck
This is a mixer-truck made by Dong-A. The concrete-mixing truck speedily mixes and carries concrete to a variety of civil engineering and construction sites. A mixer-truck prevents loss of material because the concrete is mixed inside its drum, and helps work efficiency because its drum keeps rotating, thus mixing the concrete, even while it is running
2. Tank Lorry
The tank lorry by Dong-A, is designed in such a way as to carry oil of various kinds, water, raw materials of food, etc. in large quantities. Since loading and unloading are done by means of the valve system and the gear pump, it easily sucks in and discharges liquid materials. Dong-A makes different varieties of lorry trucks for different uses and capacity sizes.`
