`His majesty Malaysian King Tuanku Ismail Nasiruddin Sha will pay a state visit to Korea on April 29. He is making the trip in return for President Park`s visit to Malaysia in May, 1963 and this occasion will unquestionably serve to further cementing the friendship between our two countries. Malaysia is a federation which was formed in June, 1963, integrating Malayan peninsula, formerly British Singapore and former British colonies North Borneo and Sarawak. The Federation of Malaysia, a constitutional monarchy covers an area of 131,000 square miles and has a population of 10 million people. The Federation of Malaysia endowed with rich natural resources in rubber, tin, petroleum, lumber and other argricultural products, is making a fast move toward an industrialized country and is concentrating its efforts at the Federation`s two overriding tasks of attaining economic self-sufficiency and becoming a strong country as a united nation. His majesty Malaysian King`s state visit to Korea undoubtedly will contribute to the collective security of the free Asian nations against the threat of the communist aggression as well as to promoting friendships and economic cooperations between the two countries. The Ministry of Communications issues a commemorative stamp in honor of his majesty Malaysian King`s visit to Korea and wishing the prosperity of our two nations.`
