`The 45th National Athletic Meet will be held at Inchon for six days as from September 3rd, 1964. The Korean Athletic Association which has sponsored the annual meeting was found on July 31, 1920 as the symbol of nation`s independence and solidarity. Added to this tradition, this association has dedicated to stimulate further enhancement and development of both spirit and physical strength by holding the annual meet of the nation-wide athletic competition. Since the 43rd National Athletic Meet, the site of the meet has been chosen for major local cities in order to encourage the athletic activities throughout the nation and to give better equal opportunity to whole country. Accordingly, the 45th National Athletic Meet will be held at Inchon after Taegu in 43rd and Chonju in 44th. The 26 events of this athletic meet will be encountered among the province teams and their rankings are decided by the total record of all games. In order to mark the national meet at Inchon and to encourage further support by the people, this Administration issues a 4 Won postage stamp.`
