```Keum Kang Cholong``, a peculiar herb which is seen only in Korea, has been adopted for the design of newly issued 0.40 won regular stamp. The botanical name of ``Keum Kang Cholong`` is known as ``Hanabusaya Asiatica Nakai`` which belongs to a perenial herb of Platycodon Glaucum (Chinese Bellflower) Section.
During August and September, this herb blooms thin violet in a shape of bell at the top of the stem and it reaches a length of 70cm. The distributed zone of the herb is Mt. Keum Kang, Mt. Teabak and Mt. Sorak in Kang Won Province.
